RI
Student Labor Action Project
|
|
The
RI Student Labor Action Project (RISLAP) is a campaign to reinvigorate
the partnerships between workers and students in Rhode Island and
to fight together for workers' rights and economic justice in Rhode
Island and across the globe.
Students
and workers together have the power to transform the world.
|
Especially
in Rhode Island, with the largest number of students per capita, by bringing
together the youthful militancy of students with the experienced solidarity
organizing of workers, we will build a powerful movement.

The

Nationally
network student activists involved in worker solidarity, anti-sweatshop,
graduate student employee organizing, anti-corporate, living wage,
and corporate code of conduct campaigns
- Connect
students up with local labor, community and faith-based organizations
and activists
-
Provide
technical assistance as well as organizing trainings and
materials for use by student activists
